Awesome Monitor

This is the first monitor I bought in 5 years. It is awesome. The picture is crisp and clear. It is so lightweight compared to previous monitors. I would definitely recommend it to others.

monitor has good features, resolution is good, for a low priced monitor, it is a good buy. the stand is a little weak and when compared to a higher priced monitor, there is a difference

Perfect for displaying multiple graphs and plots

I wanted a larger monitor for displaying multiple windows for the purpose of 2D data analysis. It serves as the extended monitor for my laptop. The color fidelity was not important so I have not assessed this measure of performance in the 2311x.
Compared to my 15.5" laptop screen, this was a huge improvement. It worked just fine out of the box without having to make any adjustments. Easy set up.
Many more windows really improved efficiency, and the larger screen enabled me to analyze more complicated diagrams. Clarity, focus, resolution was just fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

lack of product manual

I'm still looking for ways to control the contrast and brightness on my monitor, the VGA controls are not the easiest to use and I don't see any controls for brightness, etc.

I love the monitor, however the on/off switch is alittle hard to use- I actually lift up the monitor when trying to press the hidden button.
