Amazing amazing sound. Amazing durability.

I've had this speaker excatly 10 years now. I've literally moved actoss conutries and variois houses. Its always served me well, at the beach, as my main home unit, and is as loud as most other large bass boosting speakers used for parties. Absolutely love it. I connected it direct to power as the charging port broke several years back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beyond Cool, Terrific Build and Sound

This little jambox is surprisingly strong for its size, especially at higher volumes, and it couldn't be cooler. I'm so impressed with the build quality and the sound... Such a neat little sound center. It's been a while since I've put eight D batteries into anything, but it didn't mean enough to me to actually list as a con since it has AC power. I totally love it, and the range it has is quite strong for what it is. It really shines at high volumes, where most of these types of portable speakers will struggle and generally fail, so the quality it maintains at loud levels is really impressive. As part of the younger generation, this is an awesome way for me to bring my tunes to the beach, on a boat, or anywhere really, without sacrificing quality for convenience. My friends are quite jealous, and the USB port to charge a device was an awesome idea. 10/10.
Pros: Attractive, Bluetooth Plus Remote, Compact, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Good Audio, Very Full Sound

Awesome speaker

One amazing sounding unit. I got home from work around 1am, opened the coolest box I've ever received with a piece of electronics. I will definitely be making use of the box for something else. Anyway, I turned on my iPad, paired it via Bluetooth (took about 5 seconds) & pressed play on my music player & wow. It sounded like a decent receiver & bookshelf speakers with a subwoofer. Crisp, clean highs and smooth bass. Then my 17 year old daughter slammed the door of her room so I had to take it down to 2 lines on the volume meter but it still sounded good. I really bought the unit to practice my guitar on it. So I went downstairs, plugged my guitar into my ipad, opened my guitar app & I thought I was plugged into my amp. Then my wife came down & asked me to lower it. She was in the bedroom upstairs on the other end of the house. And I really didn't have it up that loud. I also noticed when I unplugged my guitar, it sounded like I was plugged into my amp. You know that hum you get when the cable isn't plugged into a guitar. I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of this unit. Can't wait to crank it up tomorrow.

Great sound, but one annoying "feature"

The sound of the box is nothing short of awesome, and the build quality is top shelf...but one little "feature" is preventing me from using it the way I had planned. I wanted to use my iPad mini as a nightstand alarm clock, connected by bluetooth to the KMC. On paper, it seemed like a great idea. The problem is that when the KMC detects that there has been no streaming for one hour, it goes into standby, and disconnects from the iPad. So when the alarm goes off, it doesn't wake up or otherwise automatically reconnect to the KMC, and the alarm plays only through the iPad's internal speaker. Ideally, you'd be able to prevent standby when the KMC is plugged in to AC power, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Bummer.
Pros: Attractive, Easy To Set Up, Good Audio
Cons: Auto Standby

Longtime Klipsch Faithful

Having owned many Klipsch products over the years led me to this model when I was looking for a good Bluetooth capable speaker for outdoor use. I figured with Klipsch' reputation and 130 watts this would perform admirably. What a disappointment. It rattles, high volume serious distortion all while using the AC adapter. Yes, it looks pretty, but in this case, pretty is as pretty does not. I bought it online trusting that Klipsch would live up to it's standards. I'll never do that again. I'm sure Paul is rolling over in his grave over this SNAFU

Many issues

I bought this product and it had a malfunction right after purchasing. After getting a new one and after 3 years, it has started failing again - the sound is low and one side of the volume is not playing. Disappointed.

Increadible soundstage from small size

We use it mainly outside on our porch, streaming from iPhone. The sound is nothing but increadible for the small size box. I tried JBL OnBeat Venue and the Beats Box. None of them come even close in sound reproduction. I also think the white one is quite, not good looking maybe,but estethic. For beeing an active speaker which can whoop out the music big time.
Pros: Dynamic Sound, Good Audio
