What Competition?

Got this for a friend and have to get another for myself. I wouldn't call this speaker super light or compact, unless of course it did what it does. For a single, self powered, bluetooth speaker device, I've never encountered anything quite like it. It by far outperforms the Bose, JBL, Jambox (junkbox), and any other speakers in its class. But that's not really saying much. Because by itself it also outperforms my parents entire stereo system, if you don't factor in surround sound. Furthermore it outperforms most everyone else's stereos too, other than mine, but I have Klipsch reference II speakers, which is why I decided to give this away. Spread the sound, everyone needs some Klipsch. PS: some of the critic reviews of this product described it as lacking in aesthetics, but a lot of people don't have good taste. I went with white and between the copper chevron and the red light up touch display, the thing sticks out its too pretty.

I am using this for Studio Monitoring, House parties, DJ practices, Watch Movies and of course to the beach. I would like too see a solar system embedded in this system for more hours of enjoyment and to ease the usb output device charges.

Fantastic Wireless Speakers on the go...

Fantastic sound with Bass being tight and not bassy, Clear Mids and natural Treble. Love the sensor touch buttons and the rubeer feeling finish. Bluetooth works seamlessly. I bought the white model and had no regrets. Before this I had audition the Sonos5 B&W A5 and the Bose Soundlinks.

The best portable wireless speaker

Was looking to replace and came across this system. Very happy with the results, crisp clear sound great bass tones for the size of this unit. Light easy to carry around, quality construction. Plan on purchasing a couple more. A few of my friends have purchased this unit they love the sound it produces as well. GREAT JOB Klipsch keep them coming. Just an idea maybe making one a little bit bigger and more powerful with a digital equalizer display.

This device is incredible! I currently have a Klipsch setup for my main system so I am a big fan of the typical Klipsch sound; amazing highs and mids. The one thing that blew me away was how big the sound was that came from this box. It has a very full sound with whatever you throw at it (rock, jazz, etc...). If you have a small space (bedroom, living room, etc...) this can replace a full system if you want to keep it simple. Great that it runs on either batteries or plug so I can take the amazing sound with me wherever I go. Keep in mind that this is not a small Bluetooth unit like some on the market. It does have some bulk and weight to it but that is also why it sounds the way it does. The connection is so very simple and out of the box, I had it pumping great sound in under 5 mins. Bluetooth connected right away to all my Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro...yes it's sad I know). I have not tested the life of the batteries yet but someone made the suggestion to use rechargeable batteries as it does use 8 Ds. Overall, if you are in the market, if not you should be, for a Bluetooth system that offers amazing sound, look no further. You will not be disappointed in this magic in a box!

Truly Amazing

If you have the money for this thing, buy it now. You will not be disappointed. The sound coming out of it is awesome for its size. The bass response is phenomenal. I found that it works best when placed right in front of a wall, that way the lows are dispersed across the room evenly. It gets very loud and I haven't even taken it up to full volume because I'm afraid it's too loud and runs the risk of blowing a driver, I have only taken it to about 80%. It does lack a little bit on the highs, but it still sounds fantastic. The touch controls are easy to use, however minimalistic. I would like it if there were play/pause and skip buttons than just volume control. Another minor downside is that it attracts a lot of dust and dirt. The rubber pad on top is like a dust vacuum and it's pretty hard to clean. Under the metal grill is a foam pad that also attracts dust and hairs, it is also hard to clean. It's pretty easy to carry around, and would function well in the backyard, garage, picnic, park, or whatever, but definitely too large for traveling. It does bother me a little bit that if you want to use it away from a power outlet you need to pop in 8 D batteries. However, the batteries are supposed to last about 24 hours, which is fantastic, and if they were to install a lithium-ion battery, it would significantly bump up the price. It would've been nice if they gave consumers a choice, maybe in the future. Overall, this thing has enormous sound and an amazing bass response for a quite compact system, is great for use around the house or small trips around town, and has very few flaws that shouldn't hinder one's decision on a purchase.

Bought at the BX in Ramstein didn't quite no what to expect as one was not set for sampling. Having a been a fan of Klipsch for years I figured I couldn't go wrong. Drove home and immediately opened the box and hooked it up to my Laptop and "WOW"!!! I didn't realize such a small unit could pump out such high quality sound. I would recommend this to anyone who uses digital media source like an IPod or IPad. For the price I paid I don't think there is anything on the market that would compare. Thank you Klipsch!!!
