Nothing But Problems!

We bought this dishwasher two years ago and within a few months it had sprung a leak underneath from a hose. After battling with warranty work and going without a dishwasher for 3 months it was finally fixed. Now in December the dishwasher won't run unless we lean something up against the door. I ordered and replaced the female end door latch part and that solved the problem for all of 2 weeks. Same issue has risen again and Im not about to spend another dime on GE parts. This was the first and will be the last GE appliance we buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cleans well and runs quietly

I'm happy with the performance but it broke after on a couple of months and I had to get a new part. The new part was also broken. This was purchased at an outlet so I'll be optimistic and say it was probably mishandled but the replacement???

Not worth it!

We bought this dishwasher 3 1/2 years ago. We have never had a good wash with this dishwasher unless we clean the dishes before we put them in.
The door needs to be pushed against and held in for it to start and run, and sometimes a couple mins into the cycle it will stop unless you continue to hold the door closed.
today was the last straw-when 15 mins into the 90 min cycle the heating coils on the bottom of the wash tub started burning! I wasn't even using the heat dry or wash boost/sani functions, nor have I ever used them. Im am so thankful that I forgot to run the dishwasher the night before! It could have started my house on fire!!

Just Installed, Working as Expected

Just Installed, So far the dishwasher is working well. For me, the sound (high pitch frequency) created by dishwasher which occurs throughout the wash cycle will take some time to tolerate. Having tinnitus the sound intensifies the ringing in my ears. Perhaps the sound will dissipate as the machine becomes broken in.
