Fantastic new GE Model with new features & look

Just bought a home that needed a new dishwasher. I've always has GE profile in my previous homes and had always been pleased with quality and look. I waited 3 weeks and did dishes by hand (eeww!) : ) for the past 3 weeks while waiting for the new model to arrive. It still didn't arrive, so I instead opted for this GE, less the "Profile" name. I'm very pleased!! Here's why:
1. I was hesitant with a new model/design because being in Arizona, I have some of the hardest water in the nation -- and I don't have a water softener. While I loved the concept of the water jets everywhere, I was thinking the hard water would easily clog them. I don't think this is going to be the case. There has been NO residue at all on the jets, tub or on my glasses, dishes or plastic. As I've done in the past, I'm using the recommend detergent and rinse aid, it's never worked as well as it does in this dishwasher.
2. Gorgeous streamlines look that will now match any GE appliance in finish and handle! Previously, if you wanted GE Monogram of one appliance, you had to get GE Monogram throughout your kitchen or it wouldn't match. This is no longer the case. : )
3. Love the bottle washer! It's an awesome feature. I've used it already in several cycles to clean bud vases, sports bottles and plastic.
4. With the heated feature on, my plastic comes out DRY and WITHOUT SPOTS!! This is a first, with any dishwasher I've ever had in the past 25 years.
5. WHISPER QUIET MACHINE! I debated about getting a different brand because of being able to get a quieter machine because my great room is adjacent to the kitchen. There is no need for a machine any quieter than this one! The first time I ran it, I had to open it to be sure it was on. It's barely noticeable and not worth paying a dime more for a quieter machine.
6. My family laughs because I practically wash my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. This time, I didn't and everything came out great! No dried food anywhere
While I would have liked the "rinse" feature that is available in the "Profile," I didn't want to wait any longer for it to come to the marketplace. I can tell I'm going to love my dishwasher and I'm pleased that later down the road, I can go with a Monogram Refrigerator and Stove and it will match my dishwasher! Thank you GE for making me happy... again!

I bought this the other day due to the old dishwasher producing smelly dishes. This GE washer works great, dishes came out sparkling and it is very quiet. The bottle wash feature is so cool!

Great Features - Extra Quiet

We have had our new dishwasher almost 2 months now and we could not be happier. My husband did days/weeks of research and we could not be happier with our decision It is so quiet and cleans better than we could have imagined

This machine is whisper quiet. The water draining out of it into the sewer line is the loudest sound it makes. I love the bottle washer and steamer features too.

ULTRA QUIET

My wife and I absolutely love this dishwasher. It is sooooo quiet its hard to tell its running...good thing for the light on the front. Washes dishes very well and love that it has the built in Piranha disposal incase we haven't rinsed very well. Everyone should buy this dishwasher!!!!

Super quiet!

I have been really impressed by how quiet this dishwasher runs. The first few times I would have to go check that I had actually turned it on. It also cleans really well, it's been 3 months and there isn't one dish I've had to rewash!

Great dishwasher, cleans perfect with little sink rinsing, very quiet, nice features. For the most part it dries great as well, but if you have cups with some space in the bottom that holds water, it doesn't always dry completely. But my only complaint!

Have only had this for a month now. love how quiet it is, and love the bottle washers for my baby's bottles. Occasionally i will find one or two things that didn't get all the way clean, but I might be loading it wrong or using the wrong setting. Still learning, but I love it!
