Super quiet, great washing results

This is a great dishwasher, so quiet, I can't hear it running when it is on until the water is pumped out and the end of cycle signal sounds. It never ceases to amaze me that the washing results are so great, pit and wine glasses at the same time, never an issue. It needs a lot of rinse aid though to get these results and regular cleaning of the removable parts. On the negative side - installation was a nightmare according to my plumber, as it is very tight under neath. Also, I wish it had an express or shorter cycle as the shortest cycle still takes 47 minutes. - overall, very happy with the purchase.

We had a new kitchen done in our home, and we purchased the GE Profile dishwasher. I did this on the recommendation of a friend (who is the most practical person I know); she has the same dishwasher and loves it. I love it too.

Nice looking but issues persist

It looks nice and has all the bells and whistles but that's the problem too many moving parts. I have this dishwasher for one year and 2'months after its warranty up it wouldn't cycle just beep and signal issue. Trouble shooting by the manual and online through GE has still left me with questions where turn next. Manual recommends replace heating element, but it's only a year old with minimal use. Where should I turn and the beeping continues?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very quiet/Attractive

I have never used my dishwashers very much, because, honestly, I enjoy washing dishes. But this GE Profile DW is attractive and very, very quiet. I had to put my ear up to the door to make sure it was really running. Cleans all contents very well.
