I have had this dishwasher for about a month and it is amazing. It is so quiet you can be standing next to it and not even hear it running. There are no spots on any of my dishes.

excellent dishwasher

The only problem we've had is its not draining right when we first got it.
Turned out we had three issues: first, the idiot who installed it (not a GE employee) didn't remove the cap so the dishwasher could drain into the disposal; second, the disposal can't be full of waste if you want the dishwasher to drain well; and finally, we THINK the dishwasher works best with liquid detergent--we used pods and suspect they didn't fully dissolve and gunked up the drain temporarily. There are cheaper dishwashers, for sure, but this one's features made it worth a few extra hundred $$.
