GE Could have done better!

Brand new machine with our new house of just 5 months and had to have a service call for upper rack glides that were sticking and not letting me pull the upper rack out fully for unloading. The new glides stick a little as well, so just a poor or cheap design. The washer also got stuck into a run cycle, never finishing, so after several hours we gave up and cancelled the run. It worked o.k. after that. The dishes get cleaned o.k., but not as well as the washer we had at our previous house. A positive thing about this washer is that it's very quiet. We appreciate that very much! Our previous washer was pretty loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the best dishwasher I've seen. It is so quite I keep checking to see if it is working! I can hear my television, this is wonderful!

Quite and Does a Good Job

Have owned for approx. 6 months. Runs very quite. Can watch TV in adjoining area and no problems. Cleans very well and racks allow for plenty of dishes. Cycle times are fairly long (approx. 2 hours), but this allows for higher energy efficiency.
