Happy with the dishwasher overall, except it sounds like gravel stirring around during the cycle that empties the water into the drain.

Top of the line dishwasher

We purchased this dishwasher as part of our plan to upgrade our 25 year-old kitchen. The stainless steel front fits in very nicely with the rest of our stainless steel appliances Being the top of the line it has many, many features. It took us a while to figure them out, but we now can use most of them. After first turning on the dishwasher accidentally, we had a hard time figuring out how to do it on purpose. Finally we called a technician and he explained on the phone on how to turn it on and off on purpose. The appliance does an excellent job of cleaning and sanitizing our dishes. It is extremely quiet. It is nice to have a light on the front to be able to tell if it is even on.

Quiet as a mouse

Bought a complete GE suite of appliances for a new home. One damaged in shipping. Door was bent on the next one. 3rd try was a charm and I'm very satisfied with it. It is very quiet and the dishes are cleaner than previous dishwashers.

This dishwasher has NEVER worked properly! For the second time in less than a year it has stopped working. Doesn't spray water any more. This is the second time. I want my money back. DON'T BUY THIS!!!

Always have been a fan of GE Appliances, I have owned many. So happy to replace my existing builders special with a quality appliance. It is literally so quiet you have to put your ear by the door to hear the water moving thought the dishwasher.
