I love the hidden controls and the feature that you are able to lock them due to having a toddler in the house however it doesn't allow you to lock the door keeping the ability for my curious toddler to pull open the door whether in use or not. I can't say that my dishes are alway clean, once you run a cycle you don't expect to return dishes to the wash or hand wash them because they didn't come clean the first time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washes Great!

I had a previous model that just did not wash very well. After almost a year of complaining and tech visits, GE decided to replace the machine. One of the best things ever. Washes great with jets sprays throughout the machine. Very good!

I bought this for our new house as a package. Two cool features it has are the individualized inside glass pressure cleaner and adjustable top rack to allow more room for bigger items on the bottom.

This dishwasher is so quiet that I can run it while watching tv in the next room. I have had company come by and not even notice that it is running.
