Quiet Operation

It's very quiet, which is good because it runs for over two hours on a regular load of dishes. The door does not have a positive locking mechanism. It looks nice, altho over engineered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher is extremely quiet. Can not even hear when it is on. Very impressed with this machine. Will definitely continue to purchase more GE appliances.

I love the features of this dishwasher and leaves the dishes completely clean and dry. At times it makes a little more noise than I expected it to, but still is quiet.

Have had this for about three months and we are very happy. The only thing is that if you don't have the Jet Dry plastics do not get completely dry.
