bad rack design

The dishwasher looks nice and actually cleans fine, but the rack design is severely lacking. Bottom rack has large gaps between wires so smaller plates fall through. Top rack has side fold-down shelves that are not able to hold two rows of coffee cups or smaller glasses. They are pretty much useless and I originally HATED the front hook-on silverware racks. If you disconnect the slotted covers they work ok though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New- it didn't work. A service technician replaced a faulty float and it is acceptable now. Still not terribly impressed with it's cleaning power. Very disappointing.

My husband and I bought this back in November and we love it! Our dishes always come out so clean and it looks beautiful!

Looks good,but having problems with bowls getting clean , soap caking on door have to read directions on how to load - still not great .

Love the slate

I recently purchased all slate appliances, and this dishwasher was included. The slate is gorgeous! As far as the dishwasher itself, I love it, but it also frustrates me at times. Sometimes the detergent pods don't fully dissolves, and sometimes they do. I'm using the same exact pods that came as a sample with the machine too, so I don't get it. I've had a tech. come scope it out too, and the consensus was the unit the pods go in was malfunctioning. I was also told to run the hot water as the dishwasher starts to operate, just to ensure it's at it's peak as it enters the machine, just to help aid in the dissolving of the pods. It seems to clean pretty well otherwise, and I don't find it to be loud, or make any unusual noises. All in all, it's a decent machine, for my first time ever owning one.
I would recommend this to a friend!
