Slate is Great

We were not sure we would like the slate finish but it goes great with the oak cabinets in our kitchen. This dishwasher is quiet and cleans great.

Not the best choice

This unit is noisy. The light wash cycle takes hours to complete. Silverware holders on the front of both wracks are always wet even on hot dry setting. Not the best choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher in the slate color. We had limited selection in that color. We love the stove and refrigerator, but have been disappointed with the dishwasher. The first time we used it, it wouldn't work, and had to have a service man come adjust the door so it would work. We don't like how the racks are laid out. Just not very easy to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice dishwasher!

Really love how quiet this dishwasher is. The Slate finish is really nice as it does not show fingerprints as it's stainless counterparts. Only thing I would change is the plastic tub. The door is stainless but the tub is plastic.
