Somewhat disappointing.

Bought all new GE Slate kitchen appliances, and sadly the dishwasher is the only one I just don't like!!! It is roomy and the rack system is comfortable to open and close. The bad part comes with the actual washing of dishes. The dishes don't come out as clean as my old "cheap" dishwasher. All glass comes out cloudy with water marks all over the place. The steam setting damages every plastic item that I put in. I have used the recommended cleaning solutions, and every wash cycle possible. Finally it takes twice as long to go thru a wash cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Steam Works Great!

I like the "Slate" color better than stainless. Great steam Function. I rated only 4 stars because the utensil holders tend to slip or fall off easily when bumped or opening and closing the top lid on them. You can remove one or more if you dont need them for a load. Lastly, this dishwasher is very quiet compared to my previous one. I am happy with it so far!

Beautiful and Hard-working!

I bought my hybrid dishwasher in May of this year after searching for a decent cleaner at a decent price, and I have not been disappointed. My few experiences with other people's dishwashers convinced me that I didn't want one. This GE has changed my mind since it's been a top performer, cleaning all of the dishes all of the time. I don't need to use it every day, but even leaving the dishes in it for a day or two doesn't stop the scrubbing power. I love the slate because it doesn't show fingerprints or smudges, and it blends with my country kitchen look. The three sprayers reach all of the dishes and glasses, and having two containers for the silverware makes cleaning up after family gatherings easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this dishwasher along with matching oven microwave & refrigerator.
Don't really care for the utensil holder. It's difficult to remove utensils when unloading.
Also, the clip on the end of the track for the top rack keepd popping off causing the rack to come off track.

Reliable basic dishwasher

Workmanlike, basic. Silverware trays well placed. Spacing of dish racks is not adaptable.
