very good dishwasher but....

The dishwasher itself is very wall built and runs like a dream. The way the baskets are for the silverware, which are on the front of the racks, make it hard for the item in the silverware basket to come clean. I have filled it just as the manual says to and there is still food stuck on the forks and spoons when the wash is done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The dishwasher is so quiet one does not realize it is even running. Dishes are clean and spot free.

Does NOT clean dishes!

As loyal GE consumers for over 20 years, we purchased complete slate GE kitchen line. Everything works well EXCEPT this dishwasher. It has never cleaned the dishes well. We've used the lemiclean product that came with it, had the professional who installed it back out, changed detergents, changed dish stacking technique, had our water tested. Nothing explains the poor performance other than the fact that this machine is garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love our new dishwasher. It fits a lot more than my former builder grade GE. It is so quiet we can turn it on anytime of the day or night and not be bothered by the noise.

Great design and color

Our first dish washer had a faulty door and leaked. A call was made to the dealer and we received a replacement within one week which works fine. This washer does not heat dry unless it is programed to do so. The cycle is much slower than our old Maytag was.

The worst dishwasher I've ever owned the racks are flimsy and who is ever going to put every individual piece of silverware in a hole??

Unit does not clean the silverware very good, they are sending new parts of it, hope that it will help.
