Cleans GREAT but long cycle.

The only thing that makes this appliance a four star as opposed to a five star is the fact that the cycle takes SO LONG. Even on the shortest selected cycle, you should block out about four hours for it to run. I read something about it being a sensor cycle which "senses" when the water is clean enough that the dishes must be clean too. The only other thing that is a tad annoying (but not a major hindrance) is the silverware baskets being on the front of the rolling dish trays. While I love the location of this (gets rid of the typical and highly annoying silverware basket in the middle of a space where dishes could otherwise go), it tends to "jump off" the little brackets when I use it to pull the drawer out when loading/unloading. This is because it has a handle on it in which to pull the rolling tray, so it is the first place I put my hand. This also isn't a huge deal as it goes back on QUITE easily. Plus, the fact that I feel positive about the overall location of the silverware holder/basket makes it worth the itty-bitty bit of trouble. And its so much easier to drop silverware in or pluck it out if you haven't done dishes and need one or have only one you need to put in before you start the cycle.
Other than that: it cleans great and I LOVE the disposer in it, plus its pretty darn quiet. The color is nice too.

Love the slate color. Does a very good job cleaning dishes. Very quiet compared to our last dishwasher which was 15+ years old. Seems to have a very long cycle and I am still getting used to the placement of dishes. Two person household. Seems to not have enough small secure "holder" areas for small dishes and bowls for a family that doesn't use a lot of dinner plates.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A decent dishwasher

The complete wash cycle seems to take quite a while, but it's quiet. It also seems like the dishwasher needs to be loaded in a certain way in order for things to come out perfectly clean
I would recommend this to a friend!

We purchased this dishwasher to complement the other Slate appliances. When it arrived at the store, we were confident that it would be a breeze to install but found that all the parts were not included. We could understand about having to buy hoses but to find out the cover to the electrical box which is an essential safety part had to be purchased as a part of a kit was not good! We also had to order and wait for the brackets that secure the dishwasher to the countertop. After all this, we were amazed at how quiet the washer was. But then found the dishes were not being cleaned well. Fortunately, we found that to get them to be cleaned better you must use a sanitize feature that was left as an option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
