All the slots for the utensils are different size, not so good. Utensil easily block the soap dispenser, not good. Top drawer wants to drift out most if the time, not good. Would not buy this dishwasher again.

Had to have the repairman out before it would even run right. He said there was a wire that was not connected correctly. The unit would run but water was not entering.
The soap will not dispense correctly. I told the repairmen this, he said to try the liquid, so I went out to buy that, I had used the soap pods. It still will not dispense, no matter which type of soap I use.

I am also limited in selection due to having bisque/almond appliances. I did not order
this originally but the one I did order was damaged and could not get another. I must
say I am happy with this model so far. It is very quiet and I like the rack space. I wasn't sure how I would like the silverware racks on the front but so far they are fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as good as KitchenAide...

The silverware trays in front reduce the amount of room for dishes and sometimes
block the soap dispenser. Using the "light" setting doesn't always use all the soap.

Defect from the factory

I bought this model at the end of December. The delivery was delayed and I didn't get to use it until the third week of January.
The first time I used it the dishes did not get clean and the glasses were spotty. I ended up doing the dishes by hand. I bought the tablets instead of the powder, thinking that have been the problem.
The second time I used it, just before I left on vacation, water was left in the bottom of the dishwasher. I used a turkey baster to suction the water out. When I returned after three week and used it again, water still collected in the bottom of the dishwasher.
I ran the dishwasher a fourth time to make sure water was leaving the dishwasher. It wasn't. I therefore researched the possible problems online and then called GE Service. After several calls, I finally got through to someone who set up an appointment.
The service man just left. After he took apart the machine, he found a piece of plastic (the same grey color and texture of the plastic used in the baskets) on the inside of the pump. Since we couldn't find any place the plastic could have fallen off, he concluded it probably "fell in" at the factory.
This malfunctioning dishwasher has cost me hours of time and inconvenience. I am glad it was under warranty, but very concerned that it will go out again, although the service man said there was no damage to the pump. At this point, I have a very low level of trust in the product and I am very disappointed in GE and its lack of quality control.

I just had it installed today and it's very quiet. It looks very streamline and attractive. I haven't used it yet but hopefully, it will stand up to its reputation!
