Disappointing!

I have owned many dishwashers.This one does not clean our dishes as well as any of the others.We have tried different settings and different detergents, but still find our dishes do NOT come out clean

I had to get bisque to match other appliances and this model is perfect. It looks modern and has great features, especially being quiet.

Time will tell

Washer worked great or the first month, but then it stopped drawing water. The support group at GE was great. Unfortunately, it took three different service companies before the loose wiring in the door was repaired. Working good again. It does make some weird noises every once in awhile, but it so much quieter than the old dishwasher. Only complaint is the door does not always want to align properly to close well. When this happens, you have to work with it to align with the catch to close properly. Time will tell if it holds up or not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet, Works Well, But

Quieter than expected, cleans dishes well, but does leave the silverware wet about half the time. And you can't put silverware in front of the soap dispenser.
The only problem was installation (my fifth self-install). If you have a hard countertop, the stabilizing brackets for this model are poorly designed for side attachment to cabinets. They do not attach to the rigid front panels, but 2" inboard to the thin side panels of the cabinets. In my case I have a lazy susan on right side, and I had to reinforce the fiberboard to keep the dishwasher from moving, every time the door was lowered or raised. Do not buy this dishwasher if you have a hard countertop, unless you are very handy, or have money to waste on a custom "professional" installation.
Once in place, I would recommend this dishwasher.

don't like the way silverware is placed...have to be careful not to have any tall pieces where it gets stuck on the soap door---otherwise it does not open
