Poor Quality, bad design
I bought this to replace a 14 year old dishwasher (another brand), which had been fabulous. I bought GE only because of the color option, bisque. First of all, this is made very cheaply, has a 50 cent motor pump assembly which, if I'm lucky, may last a couple years.. Installation was difficult due to lack of access underneath. Rack design is terrible, as is the silverware basket. There is always silverware that does not come clean. The cycle lasts FOREVER. (nearly 3 hours for heated water and dry) Only positive attribute is that it is nearly silent.

Heat dry doesn't dry well

I don't like the configuration of the lower basket. After the heat dry, the door and things next to the door are still wet.

Super quiet

My last dishwasher was a GE but it got clogged and had to be replaced. I bought this model because it has the food grinder included so hopefully no more clogging problems. I really liked the old one and it never broke in 12 years but only got clogged. I really like this new one. It cleans really well and it's amazingly quiet. I can barely tell it's on. I like that it has silverware holders on both the top and bottom racks. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I miss the folding racks the old one had for putting in large items. It also has tallish pegs on the top rack and it's a bit difficult to arrange and squeeze in smaller items.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have it a week and you need to touch it to see if it is running! The utensil baskets are a challenge though!

The interior of the machine remains wet and a lot of moisture. Have I missed some instruction that will have a complete dry machine at the end of a cycle.
