cute but needs work

This GE dishwasher was purchased to match our other appliances and does so very well. Love the easy to operate controls and quiet performance and stainless steel interior. We are still learning tp use the controls for maximum cleaning and quite often some of the dishes/glasses are not completely clean and at times a funny light brown residue is on the plates. We think that there are just not enough water jets to do the job correctly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this dishwasher because of how quiet it was, and it is true, its extremely quiet. What I am disappointed about was that the silverware does not dry even with the heater on. It is also smaller than I expected. We ordered it on the store website since they had none in stock, so we were unable to see it prior to purchase.

Hard time closing if silverware racks get switched, soap doesn't always dispense.Not as good as my GE i bought for my place up north

I bought this a month ago & just love it. It is super quiet. The utensil separators are great--no more utensils laying on top of each other not getting clean. Also the sanitize rinse is a good feature that I'm routinely using. I was looking for a super quiet model & thought I was going to have to buy one several hundred dollars more to get it when I spotted this GE online. Best buy ever!

hard to shut door; soap dispenser hits silverwear racks, our silverwear doesn't fit into slots, silverwear compartments are too large and things get crammed together and dont come clean, things never get dried, cylces are very long

Our new dishwasher is very quiet and cleans well. But, it is very poorly designed. The door does not latch properly. It keeps popping open. And, the silverware trays contribute to the door not closing and the soap from dissolving completely. It has light-weight plasticy parts that break easily. We have had 2 service calls and I'm not sure if I will have the latch replaced or just choose another model.

Your suggestion to use Cascade Platinum does not work. They DO NOT dissolve. At the suggestion of both customer service and repair tech we went to liquid detergent. There were two instances where the liquid did not dissolve. Found it spread out on inside of door.
