Dishes are clean but some negatives

This dish washer does a great job on the dishes, but there are two things I don't like about it. I don't like the front silverware baskets. On the top the basket takes up room that could be used for dishes. On the bottom when I put large cooking utensils in, I have difficulty closing the door. Twice the dishwasher leaked because it wasn't properly closed. Now I lay the large utensils on the top rack which means even less space for dishes. I don't like the tacky plastic molding that goes around the outside to cover any gaps between the dishwasher and the cabinet. The ones on the side don't even go all the way to the bottom, nor do they lie flat. A dishwasher that costs $600 should not have this cheap looking stuff on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DOESN'T WORK AS WELL AS MY LAST ONE

& RINSE THEM CLEAN BEFORE PUTTING THEM IN. THE SILVERWARE ALSO
NEEDS TO BE THROUGHLY RINSED.
THE DISHES ARE STILL WET EVEN AFTER THE HEATED DRY CYCLE.

Very easy to operate and understand, dishes sit nicely in racks, very quite during washing, and dishes comes out very clean.

Love this dishwasher! Very quiet! Cleans well! My only "complaint" is it doesn't dry the dishes very well.

GE SS interior dishwasher

We replaced a 3 year old cheaper ( not GE) diswasher with this because it was available in bisque to match our new GE gas range and 20+ year old almond side-by-side 'fridge.
It is extremely quiet and pretty energy efficient. Excellent job cleaning.
Our only concern is, it has so many operating options and controls, it was difficult to go thru the owner's manual to detrmine what buttons to push and why. The control layout and operation in not intuitive. It has problems drying completely.

Only downside is the utensil area is difficult to use ,I tensile fall through and get stuck a lot.

easy Install but height adjusters dont hold

Install was easy as it was a replacement. However, the height adjusters were not machined well and would not hold position on the front of the unit. They kept slipping . I had to use other material to secure the proper height and level of the unit.

Decided to buy a nicer dishwasher this time as we had to turn up tv when our last one ran . Wow, quiet and does great job. Super happy with biscuit color, not a fan of s/s.
