It's BISQUE color........

Have had GE dishwashers for 57 years...Just was installed, but unfortunately, this model is not COUNTER DEPTH friendly., but what choice do I have..None!
I am running it for the first time, and it is quiet to an extent...probably would have been quieter if it could have been recessed more. However, I like the look of a GE Kitchen.

My brand new GDF57osgfcc makes a whistling noi.

Today is the 1st time I've used my d/w. I ran a cycle with out dishes to try it out and it's making a whistling noise. I called the store & they said run it again with dishes & see if it went away. It didn't. What do you suggest?

Took some getting used to

Replaced previous GE dishwasher. Limited selection in bisque. This dishwasher performs adequately, BUT we've had to do several things learned on the various blogs, including running the hot water to hot before starting, and using the steam and wash temp boost controls. Must also load more carefully than the previous one. Now the dishes come out quite nicely. Much quieter than previous one, but takes a LONG time to run.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent cleaning, quiet

I bought this dishwasher because it was the best model that could still be purchased in a bisque color. My previous dishwasher was very noisy and the cleaning was just OK. This new model is remarkably quiet and when I use the preheat setting, the dishes and tableware come out sparkling clean, no spots and without any pre-rinsing on my part. Only a few years ago I purchased a competitor's top of the line dishwasher for another house. The brand is known for its high quality and super quiet performance. It was also well more than 50% more expensive. This GE dishwasher is almost as quiet and washes just as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ok dishwasher

Gets dishes clean. Not sure I like silverware compartment in front. Top shelf is hard to stack. Doesn't seem to dry on any cycle. If I didn't need off white I would have gone with another dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought my original GE Dishwasher 32 years ago and still working great but decided to replace it with a new GE before I had any problems.

I am disappointed with this dishwasher!

The dishwasher does not hold as much as my previous washer. A friend has a similar GE dishwasher that is 2 years old, and it is obvious that GE has cheapened up and cut corners on my new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
