My wife & I are very pleased with our new GE dishwasher. It is quiet, it cleans the dishes nicely, and we like to options of higher water temps and heated drying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like everything about it except the silverware rack on the bottom. If you put silverware in the spot by the soap dispenser it won't open when you start the dishwasher

Quiet!!

We have had this dishwasher for several months now and it is very quiet. Some moisture remains in the tub and on the plastic utensil holders but the dishes are dry and clean. There is a lot of room for all of the dishes and other utensils. The best feature is that we can run it while we are standing or sitting next to it and it does not disturb our conversation.
My wife is highly sensitive to noise and she is very happy with the silence.

Purchased 2 weeks ago. Easy installation myself. Very quiet. Only complaint is utensil container lids are flimsy. Plastic hinge has already snapped.

Giving 2 stars because this is a replacement for same Mod. that quit after 1yr and 3mos. They could not get anyone to repair product so had to replace it under 5yr replacement warranty !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You don't even know that it is running. Tons of space. Stainless tub for long lasting use.

Performs Function But Disappointed

The dishwasher performs okay but since installation/use, expect the following nuisance items: with the new lo-flo and reduced amount of water, the cycle takes a much longer time to complete than the replaced washer. If too much or too large silverware is placed in the lower front silverware basket, sometimes it blocks the water spray which moves the detergent out of the holder. The tines in the both racks are not moveable to be able to be laid flat like my former dish washer which is a nuisance when washing large bowls/pans/glassware. Under the "heated dry" selection, the plastic racks (2) and plastic silverware holders (2) don't dry out so are still wet when removing cleaned items. There is no positive door latch, just a plastic wedge on the door sliding into a plastic clip in the housing.
I like the stainless steel insides rather than the plastic coatings that most new style dish washers have that we looked at. No porcelain anymore. It is quiet. More distance between racks so larger items like vases can be put in. It has two removable silverware holders, each mounted on the front of their rack. They are not interchangeable though. The door won't close enough to allow start of the washer if they are swapped.
Overall, it works and probably better than some. All the latest dish washers on the market that we looked at seem to be built by the same factory with down graded materials to reduce costs (plastic or steel tub liners rather than porcelain, plastic racks, etc.) and controls moved around.
