Love the quietness

Love the appliance but don't like the design of the flatware holders, they are awkward and annoying.

This dishwasher does not properly clean dishes. I have tried the strongest cleaning cycle but it does not even get the detergent all out of the cup. There is plenty of water and it drains properly so there is something very wrong with this GE washer's abilities.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't Buy This Dishwasher

Since we bought this dishwasher, the dishes come out wet. The heating coil on the inside bottom doesn't work. We had a repairman come out and check it out. On his first visit, he was unable to perform his diagnostics so he ordered a new computer board. This was for a brand new dishwasher, mind you. On his next visit, he installed the new computer board and said everything was working. He insisted that we raise the water temperature (which we did) and make sure to use the liquid rinse (which we did also). The dishes still don't come out totally dry and some have to be towel dried. My wife has stopped the machine when the dishes should be drying and the heating coil is cool to the touch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It cleans very well. The silverware goes thru the bottom of the basket (which is too small) & the inside is difficult to place dishes the most efficient way.
