comparing this dishwasher to my old one, i find that it is smaller, tougher to load, and i am doing a load of dishes more often

Quiet dishwasher but configuration is poor.

This dishwasher is very frustrating in the fact that the silver ware basket on the bottom blocks the detergent dispenser. When packing the silver ware you must make sure nothing is in the way of the dispenser or it will not empty completely and detergent gets left on the door and dishes. Even after carefully packing, most nights I still need to run the dishwasher twice. I use the recommended detergent that came with the dishwasher. Also, I feel there is a lot of wasted space on the bottom and does not allow for everyday dishes to be packed efficiently. I will say that it is very quiet though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We did a lot of researching to find just the right dishwasher. It had to be bisque to match existing appliances. This model had great reviews and looks great. The stainless steel interior is solid. Its quiet and cleans well. We just got it and its working great! Will let you know in a month but for right now, its perfect!

Had this installed a week ago and we love it. The stainless steel interior is awesome. The movable top shelf is great, can lower or raise depending on what needs to go in. It is so quiet, such a change from our last dishwasher!!

I purchased this dishwasher 3 months ago. It was very easy to install and runs very quiet. You can hardly hear it. The dishes come out sparkling clean and the adjustable top shelf is a great option. I have had many GE products in the past and this was definitely a great purchase. I am very pleased with the ease of operation and it's performance.

After much research, my husband and I decided to purchase this GE dishwasher. I'm so glad we did! The price was very reasonable, and our dishes are sparkling. Best part - it's SO QUIET, we keep wondering if it's on! Our old dishwasher was so loud - this is a welcome relief. I love the silverware baskets on the front of the racks. And, I like how I can change the positions of the tines. All in all, a great product at a great price.
