VERY quiet

We bought this even after reading reviews. Some were good, some were okay. The dishwasher is extremely quiet. I have to put my ear to the door to make sure it's on! It seems to clean qell. However, there is a problem with the soap dispenser. If you load your utensil basket on the bottom and close the door, the dispenser is obstructed from opening because the utensils keep the soap door from opening. I had read this on an earlier review, but went ahead and purchased the DW. It is true! GE needs to fix this problem! I ended up moving my utensil basket and put it on the side in the bottom rack. However, it takes up valuable space in the bottom rack. DISLIKE that!

We have used this maching for about a month. It is great. Super quiet. We can run it while watching TV in the great room. We love it. The only issue is the door. It is trickey to latch it to run.

Less than expected....

The interior has less space than other diswashers I have owned and I believe that may be due to extra insulation to keep the appliance quiet. I cannot stack 2 rows of dinner plates....not wide enough. I don't like the placement of the prongs, and, suprisingly, silverware do not get clean.

bought this 2 months ago and it leaked immediately (from the door). ge has been out twice to try to stop it and is due back next week.

I like the dishwasher but do have trouble getting the door to stay closed. Of course, when I schedule a repairman it works fine so I just live with it.
