Doesn't dissolve soap

I use the dissolvable soap pods that were recommended for the dishwasher and it constantly doesn't dissolve. The dishes are also not drying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleans really well

Cleans really well so I'm pretty happy with that part. However, the cycle takes way to long to complete - I hope that can be reduced a bit.

When running just plates its a good machine, but when you place coffee cups, glasses , lids and Siverware they still have water on them

I've had GE appliances for years and have always found them to be stylish, and reliable. I normally run this dishwasher at night and it is efficient and quiet.

This dishwasher ce with the house we built and I never would have picked it myself. The cutlery baskets are poorly placed and break easily. The light wash cycle is terrible and the only way to get a good clean is by pre-washing the dishes and setting the washer to the highest setting. I gave it two stars because it offers a steam cycle and has decent looks. Although I generally like GE products, I would t recommend this particular dishwasher to anyone.

It cleans wonderfully! I just wish the front door of the machine was not so flimsy feeling. I think one wrong bump of the knee and there will be a dent.

Falls short of great look

We got this as a replacement through our warranty company and while it looks great, the practicality of it is terrible. The silverware rack has poor placement and often those don't get clean. Many of my regular size plates don't fit the bottom rack because they hit the top sprayer. The door is cheaply designed and latches using plastic and it feels flimsy. Aside from silverware not getting clean though everything else comes out clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
