Looking good so far

We are still in the process of testing our GE dishwasher. There are several features that we like, although there are some that we are still uncertain about. The snaps that keep the wine glass holders seem a bit loose, so the wine glasses don't stay put. And, although I haven't checked our water temperature coming into the unit, and although we've experimented with the various settings, we still end up a wash and dry cycle with water on or in the dishwater that hadn't evaporated away to leave dishes "dry."
We didn't realize that we would have to clean filters. Devices seem to require more human interaction that before. At least there's no cost for filters like refrigerators and water softener systems.
And more than a little pre-rinsing IS required for even "normal food soil" items before they get clean.
We do like the silverware baskets and the new design, more efficient spray arm.
Overall performance seems to be efficient and clean.

Not what we thought it would be....

The top rack is much smaller that we anticipated. The silver racks are not real easy to use. We are trying to egg used to them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Attractive appliance

I like the looks of the dishwasher. It cleans well, but I don't like the fact that I need a rinse aid for dishes to dry properly. The top rack is a bit small, but I'm learning how to squeeze things in.

So far so good after about 1-month of usage. Runs very quite - Great Capacity! Gets everything clean... Love the Sanitize and steam features.

GE consistently produces quality products. This dishwasher is quiet and efficient. I like the placement of the utensil rack. The slots are a plus, keeping utensils separated.

Quiet, Easy Install, Great Look

We purchased this dishwasher because it is extremely quiet, has a great appearance to it, and the inside is very sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a well priced dishwasher.
