Very Happy With Performance

I have used a Norelco since I was 15 years old--now 73 years old. I still have two razors-one about 7 years old and the other over 12 years old. I have used this new Series about a week and it gives a closer shave than any previous Norelco/Philips I have had. Plus, it is so quiet and the shaving time is quick. I'm so pleased I purchased this model. I just wish it had a coiled electrical cable instead of the straight cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It worked fine for about 6 months. Then all the small parts in the head fell out and could not be secured, even after the Co. mailed me a free clamp. Several people tried to get it secured but did not do so!!

Cleaning heads is easy and small enough to fit in my hand

I like the fact that I can clean the heads easily and that with arthritic hands the shaver is small enough that I can hold it easily.

This is my 3rd Norelco electric shaver in the last 20 plus years. I have liked them all. They all were replaced instead of buying new blades, which cost half the price of a whole new shaver. It makes more sense to buy a new shaver instead of replacing the blades on a near 10 year old shaver. My last Norelco was so old i couldn't find any replacement blades. I'm happy with my shaver.
Pros: shaves smooth and close.
Cons: price of replacement blades.

Does not shave as close as a cheaper Norelco

I bought this razor 6/19/2016 and received it a few days later. I had the Norelco 6948XL which I had for a few months, After using the new razor for 3 days, I went and shaved myself with the older razor and found that it gave me a noticeably closer shave. I should mention that when using the 948XL I had developed some soreness under the nostrils which cleared up after 3 days using the newer razor. I am going back to using the older one and hope I do not develop the soreness again.
Cons: did not shave very close

burns your face

will burn your face when shaving more then 30 seconds. It is brand new right out of the box. .THE dealer said all electric razors will burn your face and you have to cool your face with a after shave lotion THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST ELECTRIC RAZOR.
