My Norelco electric shaver is a superior product. It gives a quality shave in a minimum amount of time. The trimmer works equally well. I have tough beard growth as well as tricky curly-cue neck hairs and they are no match for this shaver. I've had it for over a month now and I have not yet had a single "nick" from the shaver. The price was right, too. I recommend this shaver without reservation.
Pros: easy cleaning, trimmer works well around eyebrows and sideburns
Cons: no "cons" noticed to date

On/Off switch failed after 8 months

Had to have warranty replacement of razor after on/off switch started sticking and then completely stopped working.
I've had several Norelco's in the past and used their trimmers. I have a mustache, the trimmer on this one doesn't cut as well as my previous Norelco's. Several attempts are required to cut, as a result I can't get a nice straight trim. I gave up and use another trimmer.
I have used Norelco shavers for 51 years still have the hard case the shaver used to come with. This shaver is easy to use, has a good feel to it when you shave and you do get a close shave. My next one will be the flex head, but not for a few years.
I ordered this for myself because my old Norelco Razor Battery was dying after about 15 years of use! When I received the new one, I followed the first charge instructions and let it charge overnight. The next morning, I attempted to use it and it died after about 10 seconds of use. I got in touch with Phillips and they got a new handle shipped out to me. The new handle has been in use now for several weeks without a problem. I've not even charged it since the first charge! So yes, I'm extremely happy with my purchase!...and I'm very happy with Phillips policy on keeping the customer happy!
