I've always had Norelco Shavers and some of been better than others. This one fortunately is one of the best I've had. Can't say much for the Senso Touch 1180 X. Not a good save at all. But I would highly recommend the Norelco series 3000 ( 3310 ).
Pros: close shave
Cons: can't think of any.

I have used Norelco shavers since 1960 and have always found them to be an excellent shaver. I especially like the new feature this one has where I can run the head under a stream of water to clean it each time I use it. And as always, I get a very good shave in a very short time.
Pros: close shave, easy clean up

I have had a781xl razor for many years and bought a new one and it does not work as well as old one, I made the mistake of buying a new one instead a new set cutter head for my old one .

my prior razor had a larger head and had to remove it to use trimmer. this model has the built in trimmer and the razor is easy to rinse clean,
Pros: smooth clean shave
Cons: battery charge could last a little longer

Instead of the 4 weeks the instructions are needed to break away from adr razor, it only took me 8 days. Being able to wash it out under hot running water is a great feature. Two relatively minor shortcomings are the power chord is aboutt 3 feet too short for me Ito conveniently use. I wish they offered an optional lingers power chord for sake. Secondly, one of the prongs in the cheap plastic head guard
Pros: mcrfrin evtomcinveniently, quickly adjusts to beard, easy to clean under running water, quick & smooth shave

I like the pivoting heads, and the blades seem sharp enough. The trimmer attachment leave a little to be desired, as far as sharpess, and usefulness. I don't like the way the trimmer too easily folds back down to it's original position when you are trying to use it.
Pros: main blades are good and sharp, like the pivotint headsa, nice battery life
Cons: trimmer sucks, trimmer blades are not effective

I have used other electric shavers in the past and have come to really enjoy the Phillips shaver. I read other reviews that seen to indicate the shave would not be as close as others, but found the closeness & smoothness to be very comparable if not better! I really like the easy to clean head and body, and really love the life of the rechargeable battery! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality product at a reasonable price.
