shaves fairly close and effective. but I do have to go back over the heavy places more than once.
Pros: easy to handle
Cons: i have to go over same place a couple of times
I would recommend this to a friend!

A mediocre shaver. Buy the 6955XL instead.

04/03/2014 I am amazed so many users like this shaver. It is slow, with it's slow motor, and it does not shave closely, despite the claims of "comfort cut heads". You must completely disassemble it for washing because the cutters won't cut properly when clogged with hair. Then, it is very difficult to reassemble because the combs must be positioned exactly right or the locking part won't lock. The only plus for this shaver; it is washable. Buy the 6955XL, if available.
Pros: washable., li-ion battery.
Cons: hard to reassemble after thorough washing., slow motor slow cutting., hard to cut hair at corners of mouth.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear that you’ve had a disappointing experience with our Philips Dry electric shaver. You may adapt the below given steps for best shaving technique and get good results.
• Move the shaving heads over the skin, making both straight and circular movements.
• Your skin may need 2-3 weeks to get accustomed to this Philips system.
• To prevent damage, put the protection cap on the shaver after use.
Your first shaves may not give you the result you expect and your skin may even become slightly irritated. This is not uncommon since your skin and beard need time to adapt to any new shaving system. It is recommended to take into account an adaptation period of 3 weeks, during which you should shave regularly (at least 3 times per week) to allow your hair and skin to adapt to the new shaver.
During this period, use your new electric shaver exclusively and do not alternate shaving methods; alternating shaving methods makes it more difficult to adapt to the new shaving system. If the problem still persists we would request you to contact our Consumer Care team by accessing the below link: http://ow.ly/uTGfj . Thanks.
Very good electric razor in this price range. I've had this razor about 2-months and still shaving on the first charge.
Granted, I don't shave every day, but 2-3 times a week. The razor is comfortable in the hand, not too heavy and gives as good a shave as I've gotten out of any razor.
Being able to rinse the head with water after use is a plus on this unit.
For the price point, the performance, design, and feel is perfect for me. I would buy this one again.
Pros: performs well, ergonomic, long battery life per charge, close shave, good price point
i like it a lot, but it seems to irritate my skin around the adamsapple and it sorta drags onmy face, like it is rubberized around the blades.overall it is a nice razor, light and easy to use. i bought a 7300 and it is a lot better.
