Though I've only had the shaver for only a few months I've been quite happy with the way it shaves, the ease of cleaning, and the way it has held a charge thus far. I've probably gottne a dozen shaves or more out of it. Hopefully it will continue in this way.
I have another Norelco razor I keep in fl that apparently is better as I paid more for it. It might be my imagination, but the other one I have in FL seems to cut a little better. No big deal as it cuts okay.
Received this shaver as a Christmas gift that I requested from my wife. I don't always have time for a blade shave. This shaver is a great alternate for daily touch ups, for grooming before an important meeting or if rushing to go out in the evening where I don't really need a super close shave but need to remove the stubble from my morning blade shave. Every man should have one for daily grooming.
Pros: great design., easy to use when on the go.
Cons: not as close as a blade shave but good performance
Shaves fairly well. Does not seem to cut close enough.

I have used a Norelco 7180XL for years and was pretty much satisfied with that model. I feel that I probably should have invested more money for a better razor.
I replaced my old Norelco 3 head razor on a recent trip, and I like the overall improved performance of the new razor. It is still on it's first battery charge (over 3 weeks), and gives a nice, comfortable close shave. As before, the pop up trimmer is a great feature. It is also convenient to be able to wash the head as well as the razor under running water - very convenient. It is attractively designed, and very comfortable to hold. All for a fair price.
