My first impression when I plugged it was up to expectations. It booted and linked without any glitch. I found that the round directional buttons are somehow difficult to operate because of their size, but I got used to it. The image quality is good, but the sound is perfect. The refresh rate is ok and the interaction is very fast between the camera and the monitor. There is nearly no lag either with the sound (in both directions) and image. The PTZ function works well and silently. The night mode works great and yes, the IR leds are invisible and that was an important factor when I chose this monitor. I don't want my little girl to stare at a red circle in the night ;-) I also liked the PEEP mode with its 3 sensitivity levels : the calibration seems alright to adapt to many environment noise levels. In our little house, we cover the three floors effortlessly with the antenna in the upright position. In short : a good buy.
I bought this monitor after reading all the positive reviews on it and my old monitor from another company broke. Extremely pleased with this product and the features. Love being able to move the camera around and see both of my daughters. The screen is large and the picture is clear even in the dark.
I received this product as a gift from our registry but my husband and I did a lot of homework to check into the performance of this product as with prior children we had always used other brands. We were very happy with what we found and read in terms of other's experiences and reviews as well as the quality of the product and customer service. So far, we have had the same positive experience as the other buyers!
I bought this this week. I just figured it out yesterday. It works well. I wish I could control the microphone volume on the camera. It is loud enough I hear it down stairs. It would be nice if I could access the cameras by my iPhone too. It works well although. The monitor is made of light plastic, it is compatible with 4 cameras and has various view modes. I really like it.
We don't have a large house so I'm disappointed in the fact that we paid so much for this monitor and it doesn't even work past the next room. It's a nice monitor other than that.
The Keera Baby Video Monitor does an excellent job on all of the things that matter most. I have crisp video of our baby and it captures sound very well. The range is good and doesn't eat up wireless bandwidth like some of the WiFi router-based products. Only complaints are that it lacks a few finesse options. For instance, you can only choose to have the video off or on all night; an option that brings up video when noise registers would have been nice. Also, during twilight the camera is confused as to whether it should try to display color or night vision; an option to manually switch between the two would have helped in a few instances.
Good picture, lots of functions. Night vision and peep mode are great features. Important to note that although the camera can be mounted to a wall, it cannot be battery operated and cord will hang down unless you run it behind the wall.
