Terrible waste of money

We bought to look after our boys. Reception has always been week and nighttime vision has never worked well. The color only occassionally works in daytime. Now the images are blurred guesses as to how our boys are and where exactly they are in the room. The antenna broke within a couple months. This most certainly doesn't help set my fears at ease, wondering how my children are. There's no way to control the volume of the repetitive music and my children can hardly hear us talk to them. Highly disappointed in this product. Levana hasn't been helpful either with the warranty. We have had an ongoing email for a month now, with no solution only them telling us to reset the system enough had only made out worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Since my first child was born 4.5 years ago, we've gone through 3 Levana Keera units. All 3 monitors have become completely glitchy and unusable within one year of use. - It randomly shuts off when on, or randomly turns on when off (no, not in sleep mode, I mean when it's completely off) - It freezes (showing a still video) even when the baby is up and crying. I did not hear when my baby was crying a few nights ago, and I have no idea how long it was before I woke up and finally heard it. This is a huge safety issue! - The unit sometimes cannot be turned off at all, without unplugging the charge cord and removing the battery - The charge cord no longer reliably charges—I have to rotate it to find a "sweet" spot where it actually charges - Sometimes refuses to find a signal even when standing directly outside the baby's door - The image sometimes gets completely messed up, with multi-colored lines running through it.
This has happened to 3/3 of the Levana Keera monitors we've owned, so this product appears to have a 100% failure rate within 1 year of use.
I bought this monitor after my beloved Willow stopped charging. The resolution is not as good as our prior one but it works and the charging adapter is different (not a mini USB charger cable). Overall good monitor!
I bought this monitor 2 months ago and wanted to use it for awhile before writing a review. It works but has nothing special to it. I like that I can do split screen with my monitors but wish I could do just the 2 at a time instead of a 4 way screen split. The idea of being able to record seems great. I tried it once while leaving my daughter for the first time and the baby monitor froze and recorded nothing. Night vision is absolutely awful. I had a monitor before (got this one to have 2 monitors) and it had amazing resolution in the night. I also have issues with the camera where sometimes the night vision doesn’t work at all or it thinks it’s off even though the switch is on and I have to push it really hard into the on position to make it realize it’s on. The white noise is ridiculous. I have never seen a baby monitor with such terrible white noise. I want to hear my little ones if they wake but the white noise makes it hard to sleep. I love this brand, always use my Snuza, but I definitely do not recommend this monitor. I expected better from the brand I love and trust after my Snuza experience and am incredibly disappointed that I spent this much money on something that isn’t very good.
Range is not what it states and connection is weak. My son’s room is literally below our room and it cuts in and out of connection. Antenna needs to be up at all times unless the monitor is basically within a few feet from the modem.
Monitor battery life is low. After about a year it needs to be plugged in if you want to keep it on for more than 10 minutes.
During certain levels of lighting during the day, the monitor is pretty much black because it can’t distinguish whether it should be in day or night mode.
Compared to another Levana monitor we have, this one is awful.
The specs say it has a range of 750m. When my baby is in my living room, I can’t even go into my backyard and get a signal...and I’m only 40 feet away with only windows between us.
Peep mode kills my battery when I’m in ‘level 2 noise’. I was told peep mode can keep the monitor on for 48 hours. Very disappointing when I have to keep it plugged in most of the time.
I recommend the brand, but maybe go for a different model.
