Literally cannot see anything when the nursery is dark which makes this useless. Whose baby’s room is bright?! Picture on the left is lights on, right is lights off.
I bought this monitor to replace a broken one I had from a different company. Overall it's been a great monitor. It's easy to use and set up, its features work great, etc. The only draw back I had with it was that I had to cover the green night sensor light to get the night vision to work. My monitor was too close to my daughters nightlight so it never switched to night vision. It was an easy fix and now the night vision works perfectly.
I bought this a few weeks ago and threw out thr box thinking it would be as awesome as the Stella model that I had for my daughter. I was wrong. The resolution is awful, which I can deal with as long as I can see my son. The big problem is that as soon as the sun shines through the crack in the blackout blind in the bedroom, the monitor screen goes completely black. Extremely disappointed in this product.
I think this does a decent job for the price. I wish the resolution was clearer like advertised pictures. Since the quality is poor I don't use the record/camera feature often. Unplugged, the monitor only lasts maybe 2-3 hours so that's a downside if you're doing chores around the house. The tilt and zoom is super nice to have for our girl who rolls all around to every corner of her crib! I would recommend this is you're looking for a basic video monitor.
I bought an extra monitor receiver and camera to go with a set I received as a gift when my twins were born. The previous camera receiver fell too many times over a 3 year period. The new receiver picked up both cameras and the quality is just as great as it was before. I also leave white noise running, but it does not drown out the cries or fusses of fighting twins.
