this is the second one I've had the first one went out we took it back and I had to have the newer version of this one I just love it.

The LG microwave color was right for our kitchen. I hope this one last longer than the previous one we had.

only one minor problem

So far we like it. It has more power so things are heated quicker. The buttons are easy to read and to set. The only drawback of the whole thing is what we consider a design flaw. The clock/timer is recessed at the top. My wife and I are short but it is hard for us to see the whole read out. Taller people won't be able to see it at all.

We are pleased with this LG countertop microwave. This is a well made product and you get value for your money. Overall, we are very pleased.
In my opinion, a couple of small features could be better.
(1) I would appreciate having the options of "automatic cooking time" settings. For example, pressing #1 for 1 minute of cooking time, #2 for 2 minutes of cooking time, etc. There is an E-Z cook button that gives you 30 seconds, but you have to keep pressing it to add aditional seconds.
(2) Popcorn tends to burn in this microwave. It is necessary to place the microwave popcorn bag on a plate of some sort before you start the cooking process. This is somewhat inconvenient.
(3) The preset cooking options, vegetable, beverage, reheating, etc. are not very straightforward - one needs to hunt around for these options and make multiple choices of kind, amount, and so forth. All of this slows you down and is somewhat frustrating.

The whole theory / objective of a microwave is SPEED. Difficult-to-find options defeat the purpose of the SPEED theory!

Good - but sensor touch doesn't work correctly.

Was excited to see this had a sensor touch for popcorn and potatoes - however was very disappointed when I used it for that purpose. The potato OVER cooked - turned out hard and burst. The popcorn burned.

Pros: The styling is contemporary. It's easy to use. ALL of the quick touch options are fabulous. Heats quickly and thoroughly.
Cons: It is a bit on the loud side (due to a vibrating panel on the back that cannot be tightened#. You must manually enter any cooktime over 30 sec. #No shortcuts for general heating)
When we started looking for a new microwave we checked customer ratings and then compared pricing. This microwave fit our needs best. It had the best ratings, and was well priced.
We have found LG products to always be high-quality.

Easy to operate and fast even heating

Replaced a 15 year old microwave that I really liked and was pleased that this was even better. Heats evenly, has multiple settings for defrosting, softening ice cream and butter, and the sensor settings work well on large or small quantities of food.

Love the retro look

This was my second microwave, I took the first one back as the buttons were almost impossible to see at night. It wasn't an LG.
At first I wasn't going to get this one as it was white, but I'm so glad I did. It goes perfectly with my kitchen.

I love the ez-on button & the add more or less buttons. It's nice to be able to add that xtra 10 seconds when needed. It's not loud as some have complained, no rattles or vibrations. It cooks and heats evenly. Would have gotten all 5 stars if it had a reheat, or pizza slice button, lol. Bottom line. Well worth the $$ spent.
