Poor performance

This is the worst microwave we have ever owned. We returned it after about two weeks. It didn't work right with a potato and shriveled it. It burned pop corn. There was an odor coming from it when it was used. The instruction book was difficult to understand. If this is an example of LG products, i'll think twice before buying another LG product.
Pros: none of the above

I bought this microwave less than 2 years ago and it is already broken. Very disappointed with the quality.

not the high end and not the cheap[ low] end but middle of the road. enough features to do most things and not so many that there are more to go wrong with.simplicity and hopefully a value when its down the road a few years[5 or more].i did say hopefully.

Absolute junk of a magnetron!

Bought this today. Love the styling! plugged it in, set the clock, and put in some popcorn. It hummed nicely for about 10 seconds, then made a buzzy sound, and turned off. Refused to restart for a while. When it did, it had no heat.
So, it worked for about 10 seconds. love that I have to pack it up and return it. Thank goodness I bought it at a local store.
I'd be a complete fool to exchange it for another one, right??

It's a Keeper!

I owned this same model for the past 8 years, which stayed in perfect condition until there was a power-surge in my home. After checking out many other brands, & models, I decided to buy the same microwave, as I was very pleased with my original one! It is high quality, & an attractive unit.
