The 2711x27 monitor has average resolution

The 2711x27 monitor is connected to the computer with the HDMI cable. Screen clarity is poor to average, on the verge of pixelation. Screen size compensates for these issues. The monitor is adaquate. I would not buy another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great monitor! No dead pixels, HD resolution AND HUGE! I sometimes giggle when I am looking at this monster on my desktop. The only downside isif you are using it for gaming - the resolution and size are so good, you can see the elements that are bad in your game. Playing FarCry2 - I notice where distant objects that have not yet been generated can now be somewhat obvious where as on my old monitor you would never see it. I also dusted off the old game Diablo 2 to play - and the graphics of that old game just look terrible on such a huge and high resolution monitor.Overall I am very happy though. The one thing I would have liked to see is mounting points to put it on a wall - I would order a second to hang on the wall for a TV monitor.

almost bought a 25" monitor but it was just slightly more for the 27" and this monitor just looks and performs great. if you do photo work it is a must.
