TOO MANY ISSUES WITH SELF CLEANING AND OVERHEATING

We bought the model home with a lot of upgrades but whenever we used the self cleaning option, the oven would over heat and we could not use it until the repairman reset the oven. They replaced it but we continued to have issues. They of course blamed the poor installation indicating it should have better ventilation but I pointed out that it was advertised to work without outdoor vents.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My biggest concern is why would it just stop for no reason!!

Great Oven

I am a home baker. I bake about 5 days a week. It is an accurate and even baking oven. The double convection is a big plus. I use the multi rack function the most and I am quite pleased. There may be betters ovens out there, but not at this price. Great bang for your buck

Defect in motherboard

I have had to replace the motherboard 11/20. It is now 2/22 and getting the F34 code again which is the motherboard. I should not have to spend big bucks replacing this every 1.5 to 2 years. Very disappointed!

Upper over fan blower

Not to good right now finding that the upper fan blower in the upper oven is not working as we feel it should and must be replaced.
Based on the reviews, it feels like GE didn’t do due diligence to put a fan in that could be relied on for longer than it has in our case.
Timing going out with 56 family coming for Thanksgiving, needing two reliable ovens ? ? ?
