Great looking great performer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had it installed one week ago ,So I have only used it twice. It works great. It has 4 timers. Two turn the oven off and two work independently. When oven is on the LED lights light up in red outside the stove making it look like KIT ,the hasselhoff car ,from the series. I used the probe it worked correctly. I am still getting used to the controls. Basic cooking and convection cooking is easy . Other features cause me to refer to the owners manual, but no problem. Using the probe you must hit the buttons in correct order ie convection cook> temp> plug in probe> set probe temp. It takes about 10 minutes to preheat to 350. Cooldown a fan runs for 30 minutes or so. The ball bearing rack you can pull out with one finger ,All the others are a little tuffer, might need an oil lube, as suggested. 99% of the time we only use one rack anyway .The oven has 5 racks 3 top 2 bottom.

Love these ovens ... except for 1 thing!

These oven look great, love the red bar that is a time and temperature notification. The only thing I do not like and is the difficulty there is in moving the racks. It is a pretty rough movement except for the one that has a specialized device to move it. I read to put oil on the racks and that would help. And this would need to be done according to how often you use your oven. This is the most expensive oven I have ever purchased and I have had 2 previous double GE ovens and NEVER had this problem before. What happened here, GE?

Like the features hate the racks.

Very disappointed with the racks in both ovens. Extremely hard to pull racks in and out. Already burned my hands trying to do so.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Received oven at beginning of year and have been extremely pleased with the decision. Bake is great and wireless features have worked well. Really bakes a pizza to perfection.

Wonderful Oven

We had this oven installed in our newly built home, and love it! It cooks very evenly, and everything we bake in it turns out just right. I don't mind the lights on the inside, although they are very bright, I really like being able to see the food really well, and check how things look while they are cooking.I am using the clean cycle on it for the first time right now, so hopefully that works great also. The guide that comes with it could be a little more clear on if you can leave the racks in or not, as I don't know if my racks are the kind you are supposed to take out or leave in during the cycle. I also think you should get one of the extension rack for the lower oven too, as that seems to be the rack we all like to cook on most. Very pleased with this purchase overall.

Love My Double Ovens

I had double GE double ovens in a previous home so wanted them in our new home too. I've been using them for almost a year now and I love them. I did a lot of research before deciding on these and the good reviews helped me decide.
I love all the new features on these ovens. I like having convection available for both ovens, like the two timers for the two separate ovens, and I like the steam clean option. I also really like the LED lights and the red bars that indicate how much time is left to preheat or cook. And I love being able to leave the racks in during self-cleaning; it's so nice not to have to clean the racks separately.
One feature that I don't use is the remote access. I've read too many worrisome things about hackers doing things to appliances, so I would never risk this. Other reviewers seem to like it; I'm glad that I was able to disable this feature.
I would definitely purchase these ovens again, and I would recommend them to others.

If you are looking for a double oven, this one is pretty good. The only feature I would request is to have the ability to vent out the back. The vent is out the bottom, which is great in the winter when the house is cooler, but in the summer, all that hot air is going into your kitchen. Makes for warm feet on a hot summer day

After our older model GE Profile Oven started having issues, we decided it was time to buy a new oven. We spent over a month looking at and evaluation GE and other brands. We decided to purchase another GE Profile oven mainly because of the performance of our older model and the feature set on the newer model. After a couple of months usage, we are more than delighted with the new Profile Series oven. It has surpassed all of our expectations. Conventional and Convection modes on the over are great. The mobile app took some getting used to, but we love it as well. Ease of rack placement on the new oven has been a blessing. All controls are almost intuitive and easy to find.
Bottom line is: you won't be disappointed with this appliance.
