Filter Fail

First, I am using a MAC and suspect the problems arise from that. However, why can't I set a paper tray up for envelopes, the other for paper, and select the one I want for each print job. What's up with the Filter Fail error message? Looks like a lot of people are getting it with Epson products, yet I can't find a solution. I have work arounds, but I shouldn't have to. I'm looking for a new printer now - not Epson for this single reason. Do you guys care?

After a few years use, this printer suddenly will not print more than three page at a time. What's up with that?

I've been using this printer for well over a year now. The output is great I've experienced only an occasional jam, usually my fault. Performed a couple large print jobs, several hundred pages for multiple copies of a presentation. Ink usage is still high for high volume jobs but very reasonable for everyday home business use. The SW, both internal & utilities, is a bit dated but functional. Overall a great value for the minimal price tag.

Epson 840-All-In-One Printer

Printing, copying are my major usages, but I have uses photo printing and am very pleased there also. All in all, this printer does a great job in all its capacities. Changing fields is very easy as is keeping the parts cleaned and working properly. I have had no problems with its use with either the computers nor i-pads.

Great all in one printer

This printer is perfect for me as I work from home and must continuously scan, print and email documents wirelessly from my laptop. My kids also like the wireless functionality to print their projects.
I would highly recommend this printer, not too expensive to own or purchase.

I really like this product a lot because it is frugal with the ink, quiet, and easy to use. The Wi-Fi feature is great also. I have it set up in my study, but can print from anywhere within the house. I use the printing and scanning features the most, scanning and then storing all of my important documents. I have no regrets in purchasing it.
