I have had this Epson Workforce 840 for about 3 years and it is a very efficient printer for my use. I am retired and have a home "office" where I write and publish newsletters, pamphlets and work with photographs. The best thing about the 840 is that I am able to print documents and photos using various sized material (letter, legal, envelopes, various sized pictures on photo paper, etc.). The 840 effectively prints single and double sided documents and accurately prints more complicated document such as folded books. The printing quality is excellent and the ink lasts a long time. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone wanting a little more flexibility from a printer.

One of the easiest to use pieces of equipment I have ever had. Epson scanners are the best scanners anyone can own. I also have Epson flatbed scanners for photos. A must to have for us in the office or at home.

unit appears to be heavily used. we knew it was refurbished but thought it would look better than it does. printer is slow to copy and is not "one" button to copy...several options must be chosen first. it is a disappointment compared to our old Artisan 835.
we would not purchase again.

I am about to buy ink for it , I think the ink for it very expensive.

I have had my 840 almost 2 years. It's ease of operation and reliability have been a great gift. having the ability to scan, print and copy is something I appreciate. I would definately purchase an upgraded version in the future.

Best work printer I have very owned.
Had this printer for 8 or 9 years and no problems.
Just add paper and high price INK !!! and keep going. The price of ink is the only problem.
Printer is still great.
