Actually, I've been using this Epson WorkForce 840 for over two years -- on two different PCs. As of yesterday, both PCs access the 840 via wireless router. The installation procedure is thorough and easy to follow. I am very happy with how it all works and how simple it is to use it. For example, I can copy a puzzles from the newspaper ENLARGED so I can easily write in the boxes. To scan to PDF is easy very useful. Print quality is the best! Best of all, it is an ink miser (never mind how much the ink costs).

Good printer. Best I've ever had (and I've had a lot of them). Never had a paper jam. Wireless works well. Ink supply seems to last well (I use Epson cartridges). Prints great quality photos.

The all-in-one is not compatible with my Dell Studio.
I purchased new ink, but unable to use it. It was a gift to me and it worked for her.
When I get Windows 8.1 I will try again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfectly named Workforce 840 as it is great for the office. This printer does everything well. It is fast for an inkjet, prints great colors, plenty of paper capacity and long lasting ink cartridges.

I've had this printer for 2 years now & am VERY happy with it. Though used mostly for home use, I do print up some flyers and Sunday School papers for our small church and this printer does all the jobs great. Neat texts & pictures. Quick printing and rather quiet. The other features (screen, paper bins, scanner, software) exceed my expectations!

Epson WorkForce 840 Aii-in-one

I use my WF840 in a home office. Space comes at a premium so having a device that does it all is a major plus. The WF 840 is truly a workhorse with a paper capacity in two drawers of 500 sheets. My home is networked with Wi-Fi and the WF 840 includes this feature eliminating additional cabling between different computers and the printer. I think the best feature is the ability to scan directly to a PC. I use this for photos and to send signed documents by e-mail. The built in card readers also make download of photos quick and easy. I have had my WF 840 for several years and it has always been dependable.

Problems

I've returned this printer twice for glitches. The top feeder must be handheld on all of them or it'll grab 2-3 pages. After two years of use one of them started skipping pages during printing and copying. Maybe their Workforce successors are more reliable. The color is great although the one I have now only scans from the flatbed not the top feeder.
