Great General use Product

Bought an all in one unit from the largest manufacturer and was disapointed immediately. Have previously purchased only Epson products for about the last 15 years and have been extremely satisfied. I bought the other unit and was disapointed with setup, use and reliability.
I have returned to an Epson all in one and couldn't be happier. Keep up the good work guys. I'll never desert you again!

Setup was quick and easy. No problems! Quality and price is great. I like the compact size of the printer and the large amount of paper that it can hold. Looking forward to lots of printing for all my different church clubs!!

Good Printer, Bad Fax Machine

This is a great printer. It has good print quality with fast startup and doesn't make you wait to clean the print heads constantly. However, I have tried 3 of these and all have undependable fax issues on both send and receive. If you need a good printer/copier/scanner this is it. However, if you need a reliable fax machine, this is not it.

WORKFORCE 840 EXCELLENT PRINTER!

I started a new job and they had an Epson all-in-one 645 which I fell in love with. However, for my job, I needed two trays which the company purchased for me: The Workforce 840. It shoud be called the WORKHORSE 840! It does everythng without any glitches. I would recommend this printer to anyone running a small business, for at home use, etc. Easy to use, ink cartridges can be purchased in XL which gives you another 1,000 sheets per cartridge at a slight $ increase per cartridge. Colors are beautiful! Print is clear! No problem printing envelopes! FABULOUS MACHINE! No bugs to work out. This is a 10 Star machine!!!! And, by the way, since the original printer they had was brand new, I purchased the Epson 645 from my company and use that one at home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We just purchased an Epson Workforce 840 printer and so far we just love it. We are printing photos and the colors are great, we were pleasantly surprised. The paper trays are very flimsy and we wonder how long it will be before they break. This is an unfortunate feature of this printer. Quiet and effective so far.

I recently purchased an Epson 840 and I can't believe the quality it produces. My main purpose was for photographs and they come out very clear, crisp and with true colors. I am very satisfied and would recommend this printer to anyone that is in the need of an all-in-one printer.

Epson workforce 840

I am an online student and I print a lot of lectures from the classroom. Many of these have high graphics and even on plain paper, the quality is great. The printer is fast and I like the idea of having the long life (XL) ink available.
I have not yet had to print photos so I don't know what that quality would be but I've had another Epson printer and it uses the same type of Durabrite ink. It printed pictures very nicely so I'm sure this one has the same quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Winner !

On the original set up everything went the way one would expect, no glitches. There was one new driver offered after the disk orignal. The first test copy was 100% clear and sharp and good color contrast. If it continues to perform as at present it looks like a winner.
