Excellent quality and value

My 13 year old son hooked this printer up last year. We have 3 teenagers and two adults using this printer, and we just ran out of ink for the first time. I'm impressed. When the time comes, I would definitely buy another Epson.

Ink, needed

The printer works well for both sides of the paper, but, it use's about two to three times as much ink as it's supposed to. It will not print to both sides of the paper in a draft mode. It would be nice if the individual jets could be controlled. The price of the ink just keeps going up so I would not recommend this model of printer to anyone...

I like the quality of printing. I ran into a few issues:
1. The printer will only print if all colors of ink are in the machine. Even if you are printing in black and white.
2. Some computers would not connect to print from the printer.
3. I could never figure out the wireless printing function and always had to connect via the USB cord.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the finest printers we've ever had. A true workhorse. In all the months of use, it has only jammed once (just yesterday) when doing a two-sided print job. The ink even seems to last longer than other printers! And the two-sided printing couldn't be easier. Plus, even though it happens rarely, the fax functions were easy to set up and even easier to use. Couldn't be happier with this printer; it is easy to recommend!

I have been very pleased with this printer. The only thing I would change is to have a way to feed just one envelope without having to remove the paper tray and adjust.

FITS THE NEED

This unit was purchased to replace three pieces of equipment and has done so quite well. The quality of the printing is excellent. Paper jams have been infrequent and easily handled. The duration of the ink cartridges is acceptable.
This unit will fit well in the home and for the small business.
