great as a printer for text but I was led to think it would be great for photography. So sorry! To many lines in pictures even with new ink

After over an hr of trying to install the drivers with my provider they advised me to try Epson tech support. I was surprised that although she let me go since it would take over an hr, it all went thru smoothly and I would gladly recommend Epson products to family/friends for that reason alone. Professional results and quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

no longer allows double-sided printing

This is good printer, but it will not allow use of all functionality it was purchased for. The scan feature is great. The document feeder favors one side a little, and we can no longer print documents double-sided, which was one of the reasons we purchased this printer. I am quite disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a quality plastic printer.
I have had just plastic printers before and they did not perform anywhere near as well and they did not cost as much as this one but in this case you do get what you paid for.
