Great printer, copier, and fax machine. Fairly easy to install works great as printer. I have sent fax's also easy and did coping with great results could not be happier with this machine and very reasonable price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy, fast setup

Just installed new Epson WorkForce 840 All-in-One. Took less than one hour to intall and test all functions -- no glitches.
One thing to be aware of--after loading paper in tray #1, be gentle in clicking it back into place. Why? Paper has tendency to slide toward back of machine (if you push the tray in too fast), thereby causing paper feed erors.
JUST INSTALLED-EASY-ALL IS WELL AND ALL IS FUNCTIONAL; PDF SCAN WITH AUTOFEED IS GREAT FOR DUPLEX DOCUMENT SCANS AND ARCHIVING TO .pdf files.
Summary:
- EASY SETUP and glitchless software install with Windows 7 OS (64-bit)
- Can SCAN and COPY Duplex originals to archive, and with reasonalbe speed.
- I ordered product via Epson's toll-free sales support/tech support; The Epson Rep andswered ALL questions I had regarding SCANNING functions.
- This product SCANS to PDF files, which is EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED, and is REALLY EASY TO USE from computer or control panel. HAPPY!!!

The Best

I bought this printer because the acclaimed features impressed me. After working a while with this printer, I am even more impressed. Every word is correct and then some. The best printer I ever had, period. No wires, everything accessible from your computer, most features available from printer. Blazing fast, awesome colors, print quality is unmatched by comparable (I use this word lightly, since I have yet to find a comparable printer) printers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best All-In-One in a long time

When I researched most all-in-ones, I found them to be horrible, and found this Epson to have great revs. Since I have had it, it has worked flawlessly, with the exception of receiving faxes. I have never set one up for faxes, so probably my bad. Works great with all programs I have thrown at it. It has the same print engine as the artisan series, so pics should be great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Refurbished unit problem resolved

Refurbished printer section developed a problem after a month of moderate use. All persons at Epson were courteous and knowledgeable in walking through cures I should try. When it was determined it definitely had a unresolveable problem a replacement was issued and was delivered in less than 3 working days. I do not enjoy problems,but sure helps when they are resolved promtply. I will not hesitate to buy refurbished again either because passed experiences have been relatively good.

1. Noisy - before it starts it's printing
2. Photo printing - photos are not the best quality you see spots on the pictures where it dull and other spots that are fine.... I think it is more on the black side. The colours are not as true. I compared it to another unit, which I kept that one.
3. I liked the size of the unit, the options and menu everything except the first 2 issues.
