Easy Set-up

The set-up was very easy,software was user friendly, the fax feature was also easy to use,first fax was sent without any problems after a brief look at the touch screen menu. Photos printed very clear and lots of detail. Printer was set up on desk top running Win XP with usb connection, and on lap top running Win Vista and wireless. Everything is working great. The two tray system is also quite handy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best home/office computer

I am a cubmaster, and a contractor. i'm constantly making copies and scanning documents for pdf emails. transfer of information and just making pamphlets for scouts. this printer ie fast easy to use and makes my job easier to do the work i need to get done in a hurry. If there is one draw back, the warnings for ink is a little premature but the printer will still print black and white without the other inks and thats a bonus.previous copiers/printers would not.
i have been using this unit for over a year and have used a small amount of ink for the copies i've produced.

Printer used for Home office, works well and fast. Replaces Epson Workforce 600. Enjoy the 500 paper and the use of 2 trays not 1 . Easy use excellent printer

after many years of faithfull printing my Epson Stylus died. So naturally another Epson would have to take its place. Before I could have my son set it up to our home computer, the mother board failed. So I had to order a new computer. A laptop. Since my son has not had time to get the printer installed so I can be completely "online" I decided today I would try it myself. Took out the manual, followed the directions and ... I networked it! YEAH!

Overall, this product is quite impressive and I would recommend it to almost anyone I know. All the features it has it does well. And while it is a bit large for home use, it is not overly large and is something that just about everyone could deal with. The main reason I had gotten it was to have a printer and a nice scanner that could also scan two-sided papers. It does this quite well. The only real downside is that I was hoping the flat scanner would be a bit higher resolution. While the resolution is not incredibly high, it is high enough for anything I person would want to do on an "everyday" kind of basis. Overall I'm quite pleased and, unless you need super high quality scans, I would say this would be a wonderful product to have.

Two Words - LOVE IT! I love my new all in one. I wanted a laser and could not afford it but this does 840 does just as good of a job! Have had no problems and I find myself working on printing projects just so I can use it! Have already recommended it to friends.
