Best printer I have ever owned. The price is very reasonable and the performance is unbeliveable. Very easy to setup and use.

So so printer. Have had problems with the Automatic document feeder - however epson support staff were very helpful and friendly in organizing a replacement. Hoping it was just a fault with this one and the new one is problem free

Workforce 840

After much consideration and comparison of features, cost and ink prices, I chose the Epson Workforce 840. After unpacking the unit, going through the setup procedures, I had the machine hooked up to my wired network in under 20 minutes. The 840 is very fast at printing documents and color pictures. I really like the two paper trays as I can keep different paper in each one. I was very happy to see that it is twain compliant and my Paperport 11 found the scanner and accepted it. If you need a fast, quiet, net-workable all-in-one, look no further than the Workforce 840
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this printer for a few months now And I feel it's probably the best printer I have ever had . The only negative thing that I could say about this printer is the ink cartridges are expensive, Everything else on the printer is absolutely outstanding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent All-in-one!

Purchased the Workforce 840 online. Very easy to setup. If you're using the wi-fi option, make sure you follow the instructions. Install the software 1st, use a USB cable for the initial install. The wizard on the CD walks you through the steps, took about 10 minutes from opening the box till I sent my 1st wi-fi print request to the printer. Don't need to use the USB cable for subsequent installations, just loaded the drivers from the CD and the OS recognized the 840 immediately. Very fast blk only prints, about average color. Color is vibrant, looks great. Fax is very simple to set up, works well. Very good value for what you get.

The printer does what it is supposed to do but I've had trouble using it wirelessly. Works just fine using USB cable. Plastic on Printer is cheap and looks like it could be damaged easily.

It does everything we need it to - print, copy (single or 2 sided), scan, fax. It is very efficient with the ink usage. You can set the ink density and drying time for 2 sided copying ensuring that you can read the second side and not have smudged ink. And it does not use much ink. We had the old Epson NX300 and we were always replacing the expensive ink cartridges after only 50-100 pages.
It was easy to install all the drivers and the online instruction manual (does come with a limited paper one). It's easy to operate using the various features. The instruction manual was great.
Highly recommend this printer for home office or small business.
